Prelude and Fugue in C MinorRoy Holmes studied piano at the Ulster College of Music and at the Royal Irish Academy of Music. He graduated with an honours degree in music from Queens University Belfast. He later travelled to Austria where he studied with Dieter Weber in the Hochschule Fur Musik Vienna. He went on to win a silver medal at Vercelli International Piano Competition. Roy went on to receive the English Speaking Union/Indiana University fellowship which resulted in him studying with Gyorgy Sebok where he obtained a masters degree in piano. Roy has since performed concertos with the RTE Concert and Ulster Orchestras and has often worked with all the Irish Orchestra on a freelance basis. "Dreaming" is a collection of some of Roys favourite classical pieces with works from Bach Debussy Schubert and Beethoven.
